The car’s USB drive

Overlook doesn’t see my drive. Plug the Rivian’s USB drive into your iPhone, iPad or computer, then choose it in Overlook. The car names it “android”. On an iPhone or iPad, use a USB-C drive or a USB-C adapter.

Where are my recordings? Gear Guard, Incident Cam, RoadCam and saved clips are in the drive’s folders; Overlook finds and groups them for you. See what’s on your Rivian’s USB drive.

Overlook Cache

The Cache is a Raspberry Pi that takes the place of the USB drive and backs recordings up on its own. Set one up. In the Overlook app, Account → Overlook Cache shows each Cache, its health and its settings, and can send its logs to support (you get a short code to quote in your email).

Your account and cloud backup

Plans. See Pricing. Pro and Plus bought on the website work in the apps once you sign in with the same email.

Deleting your account. In the app, open Account → Delete account (on the website, your account page). This deletes your account and everything in your cloud. Cancel any subscription first.

Privacy. Footage you watch from a drive or a Cache stays on your device; nothing is uploaded unless you turn on cloud backup. Read the privacy policy.
